Flying Doctor’s of Mercy, (Liga International, Inc., Central San Joaquin Chapter) is a nonprofit group of ALL volunteers from pilots to doctors and dentists to nurses to translators to pharmacists to Rotarians to construction workers to lawyers to artists to secretaries to students to people who give their time to (not as large lettering) fly to the Liga clinic, La Victoria, built with the assistance of North Fresno Rotary, in Ocoroni, Sinaloa Mexico, from October through May one weekend bimonthly to deliver medicine and equipment and provide general medical, dental and eye care and education without cost to people who otherwise have no access to medical care. (Larger lettering) Some volunteers also serve on the board and/or help to raise funds and educate the public about Liga to increase the number of the number of volunteers and services that can be provided while maintaining La Victoria.
